Background

Christian Gaze mcsd has been designing furniture since 1989.  He studied design and cabinet making at John Makepeace’s Parnham School in Dorset UK, from where he graduated with a distinction.  He has been a member of The Chartered Society of Designers since 1992

In 1992 he founded Gaze Burvill with Simon Burvill, where he was responsible for the design and manufacture of their distinctive and highly acclaimed range of exterior furniture.  The furniture is in many prestigious locations from HRH Prince Charles's garden at Highbury to the contemporary new British Embassy in Dublin.   

He is now based in France where he is a freelance designer specialising in the design, development and sourcing of furniture and homeware for production and bespoke furniture.
